Most utopia garments are exclusive in-house designs. They are only available within our stores and on our online platform. Utopia also imports a small range of indie designs from other labels to complement the utopia range. These items will be labeled with "imported" on the description in the product page.

Batik fabrics are usually only 2m long and are not mass printed. Thus, once the fabric is used up, we are unable to duplicate a second piece. This is why every item, even of the same design, will be different from others, it results in an article of clothing whose pattern variation will belong uniquely to you.

After purchase, our customer support team will reach out to you via Whatsapp with images of the various pattern variations for you to choose from.

In general, the materials we use do not shrink. Most of the materials have been pre-washed. However, to increase the lifespan of your garments, it is best to avoid machine spin-dry and hot water treatment. Do note that some stretch materials will expand slightly if machine treated and cotton may shrink when used with a dryer.

There is a size guide under the size options for each product listing. Based on that, you can match your personal measurements to find the size that will best fit you. To find out your personal measurements, simply follow the guidelines below to get your utopia store size.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the measuring tape aligned as you measure.

Natural Waist

Measure around the slimmest part of your torso with two fingers in between the tape & your body. The tape should fit comfortably around your body.

Drop Waist

Measure at 1 ½ inches below your natural waist using the same method for measuring your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet slightly apart & measure around the fullest part of your hips. The tape should fit comfortably around your body. Due to the different kind of cuts and fabrics available in our store, do note the description on the product page closely for our recommendations if you should size up, size down or if item is true to size.

At utopia, you need not fit the dress; instead, the focus is how the dress should fit you.

We understand that every body is different, and we will provide alteration services to address the customer's concerns and make professional recommendations to perfect the fit. Alteration services will only be for utopia products.

Measurements can also be made in-store and service fees of $4 - $20 apply. Dependent on type, there is an estimated wait of 10 days for collection. Utopia also offers repair work services for your used utopia garments. Charges are dependent on the damage.

Utopia Apparels products are manufactured overseas, so we are unable to provide customisation services for our customers. However, with export orders of a minimum quantity, we are able to customise variations of our products to cater to the market demand. Email us to enquire.
